At the Church
Find us in the Sparks community of Spanish Springs on Rockwell Blvd. between La Posada Drive and E. Sky Ranch Blvd. Someone will greet you at the door and point you toward the coffee and a seat.
During Worship
Worship at The Springs is centered around hymns, readings from scripture, and a law & gospel sermon. Join in singing and speaking only as you feel comfortable! The service is outlined in a paper bulletin, and we have screens to follow along also if you prefer that instead.
After the Service
Many people stick around for a little while after worship to mingle, have a coffee/treat, and catch up with friends or go out to eat together. Join us for fellowship or head out if crowds aren't your thing.

Our teens are invited to attend the adult Bible Study during the Sunday School hour to dig deeper into topics relevant to them, and learn how to apply that as they grow into adulthood.

Here kids learn what's in the Bible in an easy-to-understand lesson plus crafts, songs, and friendships that will last a lifetime! Multiple age groups are available.
Expect a short break in every worship service for Pastor Kolander to share a special message for the kids. This is an age-appropriate object lesson related to that Sunday's readings.

Children's Sermon
FAITH
God doesn't change, and neither does his Word. In one collection of 66 books, God tells us all we need to know about his work to save the world he created from the curse of sin. This was completed with Jesus' death on the cross, and Jesus' work was proven through his resurrection. Saving faith comes only through hearing the Word of God and believing it through the work of the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible - all of it - is God's Word.
Sola Gratia = By Grace Alone
The Bible teaches that we are saved from sin by God's grace alone. God's grace is his free, undeserved, unearned love and kindness in Jesus who lived a perfect life and died an innocent death in our place. (Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:16)
Sola Fide = By Faith Alone
God comes to us through his Holy Spirit by means of the the Word and Sacraments to give us the gift of faith. Faith is the hand which grasps, believes, and trusts that the promises of God are really one's own. The apostle Paul wrote to the Romans, "Faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through word of Christ." (10:17)
Sola Scriptura = By Scripture Alone
We believe that God's Word is clear about our sinfulness and God's plan of salvation for all believers of all time. The Bible is different from all other books becasue all of it is God's Word. It never had it's origin in the will of man but men spoke the Word of God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. (1 Peter 1:21) What God spoke through the writers of the Bible in those 66 books is sufficient for us and the whole world, until Jesus returns. Our goal is to teach the Word of God in its truth and purity by not adding or subtracting to the message that God has given to us. We teach and preach the Holy Scriptures because Jesus told his disciples, "You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me." (John 5:39)
Solo Christo = By Christ Alone
Because of our sinfulness, we can't earn our way to heaven, and we deserve to go to hell. But Jesus Christ, the perfect Son of God, bore and paid for our sins on the cross to forgive and save us. As the apostle Paul wrote, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." (Romans 3:23-24)
